WORKSHOPS
Into to Chanting - A Kirtan Workshop
Come explore the heart-opening practice of Kirtan with an inspiring evening of chanting mantras, storytelling, and community. In this workshop we’ll discuss chanting, what it is and where it comes from, and the many benefits of chanting mantras. We’ll dive into some of the lore and mythology of Hindu deities and how these stories may manifest in our everyday lives.
Kirtan is not a performance, but a collective group prayer. Together we will use our voices to participate in this uplifting and cathartic experience of chanting mantras. The repetition of these sacred sounds will guide us in cultivating a deep, loving, devotional, gratitude-based, and personal relationship with the divine – everyone relates to the divine in their own way!
