Why do you practice yoga?
People sometimes ask why I do yoga.
I practice to...
breathe in and breathe out
learn patience and humility
learn forgiveness and learn to let go
learn kindness and compassion
build flexibility, mobility, and strength
take time for myself and explore inward
ease stress and anxiety
sleep more soundly
prevent injury
play with my limit
play with pushing myself and allowing myself to soften
listen to my breath, body, mind, spirit, intuition
reset, take a step back, and reflect
observe my thought patterns
be okay with where I'm at
examine my physical and emotional wellbeing
examine my motives, desires, and goals
remind myself of abundance and connect to what I already have
get out of my head and into my body (and then maybe back into my head)
connect with myself, build a community, and be part of something bigger
be present
