Teaching to Learn

I’m learning to balance what I think students want to learn and what I want to teach.
I’m learning the difference between teaching for experience or financial motivations vs. teaching for enjoyment and the opportunity to share.
I’m learning to balance teaching classes with my personal life and home practice.
I’m learning to sequence less, and then sequence more again.
I’m learning to be more comfortable with my voice, to give assists while teaching, and to lead a class.
I’m learning to look at different shapes and forms, and learning to hold space.
I’m learning to teach, but I’m teaching to learn.
